I want to live in Ilocos for a year. Perhaps live somewhere in Ilocos Sur for three months, and in Ilocos Norte for the next three. Move to La Union for the third quarter, and stay in Pangasinan for the remainder of the year. Just thinking about the place makes me want to strum the les paul jr and create some melody, on a starless night sky. Thinking about places that inspire me makes me want to make music. And Ilocos region has been calling my soul to do so..
From Civics and Culture, when I was young, I learned by heart that Ilocos region is composed of four provinces namely, Ilocos Norte , Ilocos Sur , La Union and Pangasinan. The administrative center for the region is the City of San Fernando, La Union. Each province is uniquely their own, and that’s just what I want to see, taste and experience..
