Whenever I see a photo of Venice, Italy, I always feel like wanting to jump unto the photo. If only that is possible. Hahahaha.. But seriously, there is something about Venice and that lagoon that is always calling out my name.. Ahh.. Venice! Someday I will see you face to face..

Venice is a city in northeast Italy and its Italian name is Venezia, which is located in the marshy Venetian Lagoon that stretches along the shoreline between the mouths of the Po and the Piave Rivers. Venice is renowned for the beauty of its setting, its architecture and its artworks. With that, Venice has been known as the “La Dominante”, “Serenissima”, “Queen of the Adriatic”, “City of Water”, “City of Masks”, “City of Bridges”, “The Floating City”, and “City of Canals”. Among others, it was also described by Luigi Barzini in The New York Times as “undoubtedly the most beautiful city built by man”. Times Online also described it as being one of Europe’s most romantic cities. Venice, in its entirety, is listed as World Heritage Site, along with its lagoon. And this being so, is a good reason for anyone and everyone to go there and see it.
There was a mall here in our place that resembles or should I say created like Venice. There was even a gondola at the center that you can ride for a small fee. And the ceiling of the mall as well were painted that it looks like a sunny day and that you are walking just outside.
