Whenever I think of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, what comes to my mind are hospitals for Filipino Nurses and on-site projects for Filipino Engineers and contract workers. I never knew of their beautiful places there. Perhaps it’s because I have never seen photos and I have not reached that part of the world too.
Anyway, my former student works in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and it is in his photos at Facebook that I saw two great landmarks that Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is famous for. They are the Kingdom Tower and the String Bridge.

Aren’t they beautiful? I just wonder why I usually see these landmarks as backgrounds for men’s photos and not women’s photos.. I know there are many more places to see in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia but I guess we will never see them unless we go there or have friends who are currently there. Thanks to Facebook, friends are able to share what beautiful places they see..
