While in Singapore, I lived with my uncle who is already a Singaporean citizen, thus, I never really felt homesick.. We would go to the market and cook our meals the same way here in the Philippines.

We always prepared salads… I love shopping for produce at the supermarket as they come in varied shapes, sizes, colors and textures.. All I have to do is peel, cut and slice, and mix (when I get home) and voila… they taste good..

Fried Fish.. bought fish that came frozen from the supermarket… we also buy squids and if we go to Parkway Mall, we buy the Salmon head that are huge yet come really cheap… hmm.. according to my uncle.. We go to their market too, but on a few occasions..

Spring Rolls that have already been packed ready to cook— also bought from the supermarket..

A vegetable dish that I just invented, lol.. with chicken, chicken sausages and quail eggs in tomato sauce… In my uncle’s house, we do not eat pork..
